A sneak Peek

Just thought i would jump in here and give a little sneak peek of what's going on over here, there have been so many things on and off the needles this summer that there hardly has been any time to write about them. I don't even have any in progress pictures for you but I will post about this lovely cardgian that I worked up for Hubs the Great.

Titled Debonair Jacket it is worked in the most luscious of Knitpick's yarn ; City Tweed. A Heavy Weight worsted yarn that is a Merino and Alpaca Blend in scrumptious deep red/burgundy called Blue Blood. This cardigan has modified drop shoulder sleeves , and a plush shawl collar that moves from the lapel up around the neck and back down the other side.

Two striking cables move from the front of the garment up over the shoulders, down the back and end at the hem. These are interspersed with linear elements of P2,K1, ribbing and panels of seed stitch.

The cardigan is sized for 40,42,46,48,50 inch chests and has a generous 6 inches of positive ease so it can be worn as an indoor cardigan or outdoor fall jacket.

If you would like to participate in Test knitting this cardigan you can find and active test knit going on over here, but you'll have to sign into Ravelry to reach it.
