Kaleidoscope Mittens

Hello again! I have another new pattern up at Knitpicks and this time I got to participate in the New Yarn surprise! Their New Yarn Chroma is a lovely soft spun single ply yarn that is available in both Fingering and Worsted Weight. I designed a mitten pattern to work specifically with this yarn and to highlight the colour changes within a garment. The Kaleidocsope mittens were great fun to design and work out brilliantly in the new Chroma Yarn!

Definitely a pair of fraternal twins these mittens are as sunny as a summer’s day even in the middle of winter. Worked with a self-striping yarn and a simple slip stitch pattern they appear more complicated than they really are. To keep out the winter chill they have a double cuff that is knit in without seaming. Sized from 2 years to Adult extra large you can make a pair for everyone in the family!
