A wide bottom border of Adventure Cables based on ribbing and punctuated with bobbles makes for a deeply textured beginning to this quintessential pullover. The deep v-neck is a classic look while the relaxed drop shoulder shaping keeps this boxy knit casual and comfy.

This stitch pattern was the first adventure cable experiment that I conducted, and I really fell in love with the layers of texture that were achieved with the ribbing, bobbles and cables. But creating an entire garment out of the stitch pattern seemed like it would be too bulky to wear, so again a combination of intricate stitch pattern and simple texture was needed. The deep gold and flickering cables are perfect for a sing along around the evening campfire.

Pattern Notes
This pullover is worked from the bottom up in the round to the armhole depth, then the front and back are worked separately back and forth to the shoulders. The Lower Body cast on has 65% more stitches than the upper body to accommodate the ribbed Adventure Cables. Gauge over the Upper Body Pattern relates to bust circumference while gauge over the Adventure Cables chart relates to lower body circumference. A decrease round is worked between the lower body and upper body patterns to reduce the stitch count and create the rib pattern for the upper body.
