Worked from narrow end to wide end this fun shawl is mostly garter stitch with alternating gradient colors. The border is worked at the same time as the garter stitch section and features double yarnovers and wrapped stitches with a wide fringed edge.

SIZE 65” long, 25” tall at wide end, 5 1/2” tall at narrow end.

MATERIALS
Mountain Colors Yarn, Twizzlefoot Perspectives [85% Merino wool, 15% silk; 100g; 425yds]; 1 pack Reds/Pinks, 1 pack Ash/Gray, each pack contains 5 gradient shades of 85yds each, total yardage of 850yds to complete shawl.

1 set US #6/4 mm 32 inch circular needle
Tapestry needle, 2 stitch markers

GAUGE
18 sts/40 rows = 4” in garter stitch after blocking

PATTERN NOTES
This shawl is worked from the narrow end to the wide end; stitches are cast on and bound off to create the fringed edge.

The alternating colors of yarn are carried up the side of the work. The 3 stockinette stitches on the far right side will curl and conceal the carried floats.
