Gauge
15 1/2 sts/ 24 1/2 rows = 4” over charted pattern after blocking. Gauge is not critical for this pattern but may affect yardage.

Pattern Notes
This shawl is cast on and worked lengthwise using 2 strands of yarn at the same time. It is very important to cast on loosely using a stretchy method for this shawl.

The first 2 repeats of the chart are worked with 2 strands of the lightest color, the third repeat is worked with one strand of the lightest and one strand of the mid color. The shawl continues to progress to the darkest color in this manner by combining 2 strands of a single color or 1 strand of two colors in a section.
