Gauge(s): 19 sts and 28 ½ rows = 4" in Lace Patt, blocked. 25 sts and 27 rows = 4" in Twisted Rib stitch, blocked.
Notes: Cardigan is worked in two pieces, sideways from cuff to back center seam; for this reason, row gauge is extremely important to ensure the correct bust measurement. It is recommended to knit a generouslysized swatch, wet block and fully dry to measure gauge before starting the project. Increases are worked on both the right side and the wrong side of the work using M1R and M1L. . A circular needle is needed to accommodate the large number of stitches.
