Worked from the the top down with three distinct sections Stratus Shawl takes a simple lace pattern and works it with stockinette and garter stitch. The final border is simply a wide band of garter stitch for a shawl that looks great in three colors or just a single one.

15 sts and 24.5 rows = 4” in patt from Chart B, relaxed after blocking; 15 sts and 34 rows = 4” in garter st.
MATERIALS
Brooklyn Tweed Arbor
(100% American Targhee wool; 145 yd [132 m]/13/4 oz [50 g]): Gale (light gray, MC), Humpback (dark gray, CC1), and Kettle (black, CC2), 3 balls each.
Needles Size 7 (4.5 mm): 40” circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Markers (m); tapestry needle.
